Whether Liquid Packaging bagsare suitable for long-term storage does not have a definitive answer.
Products made of food-grade composite materials (such as aluminum foil composite film and solvent-free composite film) combined with vacuum packaging technology can meet the demand for long-term storage ranging from several months to one year. In contrast, ordinary single-layer
Plastic Packaging bags, due to their poor barrier properties, are only suitable for short-term turnover.
The core influencing factors include material barrier performance, sealing technology, the characteristics of the contents, and storage environment.
- Material and Technology: High-barrier composite films (aluminum foil, EVOH layer) can block oxygen, light and moisture. The solvent-free lamination technology can avoid residual risks. Ordinary single-layer PE and PP bags have weak protective performance, which are prone to cause deterioration of the contents.
- Content Characteristics: Highly acidic and oily liquids require higher tolerance of packaging bags and need special corrosion-resistant materials. Sterilized liquids (such as UHT milk) are more suitable for long-term storage.
- Storage Conditions: The temperature should be controlled between 15-25℃. Avoid direct sunlight, humid environments and excessive stacking. Keep away from chemicals to reduce the risk of material aging and damage.
- Product Selection: Prioritize food-grade composite bags that meet the requirements of GB 4806.7 standard. Products with vacuum sealing or valve design (such as bag-in-box) are better options, while thin single-layer Plastic Bags should be avoided.
- Storage Management: Adopt the "first-in, first-out" principle. Stack products by category with a height not exceeding 1.5 meters. Use shelves to isolate them from the ground and regularly check the sealing integrity and whether the bag body is damaged.
- Scenario Adaptation: For oils, traditional Chinese medicine liquids, etc., choose composite bags with a thickness of more than 200μm. For fruit juices and red wines, bag-in-Box Packaging is preferred, which can still keep fresh for 30-60 days after opening.
